Carolyn Yates is a freelance writer and editor with an interest in all aspects of content creation and management. She is a copy editor for McGill-Queen’s University Press and the University of Toronto Press, a contributing editor for Autostraddle, a progressive feminist website, and a former managing editor for the McGill Tribune, a weekly student newspaper. She is a former marketing intern at the University of Toronto Press and a former summer staff member at CLB Media Inc., a now-defunct trade magazine publisher.
Carolyn has written about books, culture, feminism, gender, ideas, and technology for Bitch, Xtra!, Jezebel, Autostraddle, the Billfold, the McGill Tribune, Scrivener literary magazine, SP&T News, Canadian Security, and many B2B publications you’ve never heard of.
