Someone on my team sent me your website and you seem really skilled but you keep saying the word “sex” and I feel uncomfortable about that.

When we have such a sex-negative culture, it makes sense that you feel some discomfort seeing the word “sex” in a professional context. Also, the sex toy market is estimated to reach $54.6 billion by 2026. My guess is that even if you feel uncomfortable around sex, you might feel comfortable around money. Lucky for me, I’m comfortable around both.

I need to talk about gender and sex, and I’m drawing on materials that conflate the two (but only some of the time). How should I approach this?
